The hotel

Built gently into the dunes

Seagrass is low-slung, light-filled and deliberately informal. Paths weave between marram gardens, every room has a place to sit outdoors, and the dining room opens completely when the weather turns warm.

“Luxury here is the freedom to lose your shoes, your schedule and track of the afternoon.”

Explore Dorset Dunes

01

Life between the dunes and the garden

Seagrass sits where planted gardens begin to give way to marram and open beach. Paths through the property are intentionally informal, encouraging guests to move between breakfast, the pool and the shoreline without repeatedly returning indoors. The landscape feels expansive in summer, while cooler months bring clearer walks, quieter dining rooms and evenings organised around the fire.

02

A flexible coastal rhythm

There is no single correct way to stay here. Some guests begin with an early swim and spend the afternoon exploring Dorset; others settle beside the sheltered pool and barely leave the grounds. Families can choose the lofts for extra space, while terrace rooms work well for slower adult weekends. The team helps arrange plans but leaves enough empty time for the coast to set the pace.

03

Garden-led dining and bathing

Menus begin in the walled garden and expand outwards to trusted farms and coastal suppliers. Meals favour bright flavours, open-fire cooking and plates that are easy to share. The cedar sauna and warm bathing pool continue the same approach: natural materials, fresh air and treatments that feel connected to the setting rather than imported from a conventional city spa.
